Energy Funds for All is a resource guide to help NC and SC residents access support for home and community energy projects.

SCORE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). SCORE fosters vibrant small business communities through mentoring and education. Participatory science—also known as citizen science, community science, volunteer monitoring, public participation in scientific research, and other terms—uses the collective strength and knowledge of the public to gather and analyze data to answer environmental and public health questions. For data generated by the public to have a meaningful impact, quality assurance during data gathering is critical. EPA has created a Quality Assurance Toolkit to help organizations starting or growing a participatory/citizen science project. The Participatory Science Quality Assurance Toolkit features the QA Handbook and an accompanying video series, orientation guide, and two fact sheets. The Handbook and toolkit are a great tool for those starting out, or those looking to improve data quality documentation for participatory science projects. The Handbook includes: 1) a walkthrough of how to determine the level of documentation that fits your project’s needs 2) customizable templates and 3) a compendium of real-world participatory science QAPP examples.

This toolkit helps document climate and come up with workable solutions to reduce climate-related risks. The page offers links to case studies, tools, and other resources.

Region IV EPA Solid Waste Infrastructure for Recycling (SWIFR) Grant for states and territories grantees is non-competitive and catered specifically to the states for work relating to each state’s post-consumer materials management and recycling plans. It has a partner grant which was for communities and focused on political subdivisions investing in recycling infrastructure.

EPA’s Office of Grants announced new requirement that, as of March 4, 2024, all new grant applicants and recipients (organizations that have never received an EPA grant, or if they last received an EPA grant before October 1, 2014) must complete two online courses, the “EPA Grants Management Training for Applicants and Recipients” and the “How to Develop a Budget.” This requirement must be completed by new applicants and recipients prior to receiving grant funds. The Tracking Network has data and information on environments and hazards, health effects, and population health.

EnviroAtlas provides geospatial data, easy-to-use tools, and other resources related to ecosystem services, their chemical and non-chemical stressors, and human health.

Southeast and Caribbean Disaster Resilience Partnership (SCDRP) seeks to strengthen community resilience and support rapid disaster recovery from storms and disasters by serving as the primary network for professionals in emergency management, climate adaptation, and disaster recovery in the U.S. Southeast and Caribbean territories.
